Glynhafan Breeding Program
A good number of our ponies have gone on to be successful as lesson ponies, children’s hunter ponies, carriage ponies or additions to a family.
We have always strived to breed disposition first and foremost as well as conformation for health reasons and functionality.
We are the continued legacy of Glynhafan Welsh Ponies founded by the late Glenda V. Armstrong.
Armstrong was a registered Welsh breeder with a recognizable ability to breed versatility and temperament in her ponies. She believed anyone could ride a Welsh Pony (adults, teenagers or small children) and built a breeding program on that belief.

Most known were the stallions within the
Glynhafan breeding program:
Glynhafan Bayberry, GlanNant Cadence LOM; and Glynhafan Red Hawk LOM
Glynhafan Traveler is currently available for 2025.
Armstrong passed away in the fall of 2024, but our intent is to continue her legacy and a passion for Welsh Ponies.
